Founded in 1981 by the Ananda Social & Educational Trust, BRAMC is one of Karnataka’s earliest self-financing medical colleges. It’s affiliated with Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) and recognized by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The college sits on a 25-acre campus in Kadugondanahalli, Shampura Main Road, Bengaluru – 560045, and is attached to a multi-specialty hospital with around 750–800 beds and robust daily outpatient volume

Courses Offered:
- Undergraduate (MBBS): 4.5 years academic + 1 year internship, with an annual intake of 100–150 seats as approved by NMC
- Postgraduate (MD/MS): Around 74 seats across MD and MS in various specialties
- Others: Paramedical and allied health courses may also be available, though not prominently highlighted.
Admission Process:
- MBBS: Requires NEET-UG qualification, followed by KEA (Karnataka Examination Authority) counselling for state quotas, management, and NRI seats
- Eligibility: Completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotech, and English; minimum 50% in PCB (40–45% for reserved/PwD categories); must be 17 years by Dec 31 of admission year
- Documents Needed: NEET scorecard & admit card, 10th & 12th mark sheets and certificates, NEET admit/result, category/domicile certificates, study/migration certificates, Aadhaar/ID proof, photographs, etc.
Placements & Recruiters:
- Training: The hospital sees high patient inflow and serves socio-economically diverse populations. Clinical exposure is strong, especially in common specialties (Medicine, Surgery, Pediatrics, ENT)
