Established in 1999 by the Nitte Education Trust, K.S. Hegde Medical Academy (KSHEMA) is a private medical college affiliated with Nitte (Deemed to be University). Located in Deralakatte, about 13 km from Mangaluru city, the 40-acre campus is integrated with the Justice K.S. Hegde Charitable Hospital (750–1000 beds), offering strong clinical exposure.
